Michael G. Keady is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner who has been meeting with children, adolescents and adults in Nebraska for 28 years. The focus of his mental health care has been on finding solutions for relationship, individual emotional struggles, school difficulties, legal problems, drug and alcohol difficulties, medical issues and family conflict.
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and other trauma difficulties often facilitate the symptoms of anxiety, depression and relationship problems. Michael has consistently specialized in treating PTSD with the focus of care being on teaching cognitive behavioral relaxation skills and working with family members to understand and be supportive.

Individual and family medical difficulties has developed into a specialty for Michael as he was diagnosed with type 1 juvenile diabetes at age eleven and understands through personal experience and as a family therapist the the difficulties that individuals and families can experience. For children and adolescents the potential for struggle, stress and conflict for appropriate care are often heightened and supportive therapy can provide assistance.
