Shawn Curtis, MCJ, MA, is a licensed psychological assistant with over five years experience in conducting psychological assessment. Shawn has also nearly completed his doctoral degree in psychology from Antioch University, Seattle with an emphasis in neuropsychology and forensics. He holds master’s degrees in psychology from Antioch University and criminal justice from Boston University. He came to Lincoln as a doctoral intern working for DHHS.
Shawn has worked with a variety of different populations across all age groups and with different social systems and settings including schools, forensics, inpatient and outpatient psychiatric hospitals, developmental centers, community clinics, and in private practice. He has additional training and experience working with immigrant and multicultural populations, individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities, veterans and first responders, and people with neuropsychological challenges including traumatic brain injury, autism, learning disability, and attention deficit. His mission is to help people improve their lives though gaining insight into their strengths and areas for improvement with the focus of providing direction for appropriate intervention and support.
