Psychologist -

We are seeking a Psychologist to join our team! You will provide recovery-based services and participate in psychological evaluations in individual or group settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish open lines of communication for individuals with mental or emotional issues

  • Offer assistance to individuals with mental/behavioral and/or substance abuse issues

  • Provide psychotherapy and/or psychological evaluations.

  • Implement and review evidence-based treatment plans

  • Collaborate with additional treatment providers and placement agencies

  • Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in mental health counseling or other related fields

  • Familiarity with community mental health resources

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to build rapport with clients

  • Effective interpersonal skills

Lincoln Behavioral Health Clinic is offering an exciting opportunity to develop a private practice within the structure of a 27 year old Mental/Behavioral outpatient setting. Psychologists will complete evaluations, but may perform psychotherapy if they wish. Currently, we have a psychologist on staff available to supervise a psychologist in training.

The practice is located in south Lincoln; a partially furnished office is provided. We offer front office staff for scheduling support, APRN's for medication management, and a billing manager that will assist you with insurance paneling.

Part-time Medical Receptionist -

We are seeking a part-time medical receptionist to join our team! You will assist with greeting clients, answering incoming phone calls, scheduling, data entry, and maintaining records.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming phone calls

  • Schedule appointments and update calendars

  • Create and file patient records

  • Greet and assist patients and visitors

  • Maintain/print patient forms and packets

  • Assist with light office cleaning and maintenance

  • Other clerical duties as required

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years experience in a medical or behavioral health office

  • Familiarity with MS Office, Open Office, and G Suites

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

  • Effective organizational and interpersonal skills

APRN/Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner -

Lincoln Behavioral Health Clinic is offering an exciting opportunity to develop a private practice within the structure of a 27-year-old Mental/Behavioral outpatient setting. We are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team! This professional will work collaboratively within a group of psychologists, therapists, and APRN providers.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnoses mental illness, interprets data for case management, and facilitates treatment planning

  • Prescribes appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities

  • Orders and interprets diagnostic and therapeutic tests relative to client needs

  • Functions independently to perform client medication assessment

  • Instructs and educates client and client’s family and significant others regarding medications, client’s condition, and treatment instructions

  • Utilize theoretical, scientific and clinical knowledge to manage health and illness states

  • Assess a patient’s mental health and focus on health promotion and disease prevention

  • Establish open lines of communication for individuals with mental or emotional issues

  • Collaborate with additional treatment providers and placement agencies

  • Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner

 Qualifications:

  • Graduate of master’s or post master’s PMHNP program from an accredited school/college of nursing

  • Current Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner licensure from the State of Nebraska

  • Current Registered Nurse licensure from the State of Nebraska or approved compact state

  • Federal DEA licensure

  • Previous experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

  • Sub-specialty in Child & Adolescent Mental Health or Family Mental Health

  • Ability to function with autonomy and able to make independent decisions while functioning as part of a comprehensive team

  • Able to effectively communicate in verbal and written forms

  • Ability to provide critical thinking and analytical skills

  • Efficient use of health information systems, data processing systems, telecommunication devices, office equipment, and eScribe

  • Able to comprehend and follow policy, procedure, guidelines, and protocols

  • Flexibility and dedication to team involvement and supporting organizational goals

  • Familiarity with community mental health resources

  • Effective interpersonal skills

Experience:

  • Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner: 2 years

  • Behavioral Health: 2 years
